Our Timor Organic Fair Trade boasts the full body that is typical of most Indonesian coffees. It is woody and peppery on the front of the cup. The notes of cedar pop and then quickly fade away as the spicy black pepper notes hit the middle of the cup. The pepper continues into the finish and combines with the sweetness of chocolate malt into a long, lovely finish.

Roast Color: Dark

Cupping Notes: Chocolate Malt, Cedar, Spice

Story: Coffee cultivation on East Timor was originally established over 400 years ago by Portuguese colonists but leaf rust destroyed all production until a new coffee varietal called Híbrido de Timor was introduced in the 1900s. This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms in the Ainaro, Ermera and Lequisa districts of East Timor. The average small producer cultivates coffee on less than one hectare of land.

My #1 Dark roast

Okay, I consider these beans my Dark roast standard. This blend, as described in the flavor profile, will make ANY coffee lover a fan of darker roasts. I keep drinking Timor until I get tired of it, then I come back and buy it again and again...
Simply put, try these unrivaled beans and you will not regret it. MASTERFULLY roasted by the folks at McLaughlin, ridiculously fresh, every time.

Crazy good!

From the moment I opened the bag, this was a little bit of heaven. I usually do a pour-over and this was wonderful.
