Our coffee Six Pack Samplers are new this holiday season and ship for free! Try a variety of our dark roast coffees or send the gift of great coffee to the coffee lovers in your life. Our Dark Roast Six Pack Sampler includes 6 oz. bags of the following coffees:
French (Dark): We use a Central American coffee for our French style roast. It has a heavy body, with very little acidity, and it is sweet and roasty throughout. Sweet notes of caramel and caramelized sugar blend with subtle, smokey notes of bourbon to create a classic dark roast coffee that is drinkable all day.
Italian (Dark): Our Italian roast is dark with a heavy body and no acidity. The sweet and spicy notes of this coffee are wonderfully balanced. It has notes of wood in the front of the cup, which then fades into spicy notes of ginger ale and black pepper. The finish is long and smooth with notes of dark chocolate and cola.
Max's Blend (Dark): Max's Blend is our signature roast. Designed to be bold, smokey, and complex, this is by far our most popular coffee and has been a staple of the Bay Area for over 30 years. Max's is on the heavy side of body with very little acidity. The cup starts with an immediate punch of pepper spice. As the spice fades, dark chocolate notes appear with some dried fruit sweetness and notes of cedar. The finish is very long, bold, and smokey with notes of peaty scotch.
Mexico Organic Fair Trade (Dark): Our Mexico Organic Fair Trade is a great crowd-pleasing dark roast coffee. It has low acidity, a medium body, and a rich flavor profile. It starts with chocolate at the beginning of the cup, and quickly notes of dried fruit appear on the palate. In the middle, roasty notes of caramelized sugar pop into the cup, and they combine with the chocolate notes to form a long, sweet, roasty finish.
Mocha Java Organic Fair Trade (Dark): Our Mocha Java Organic Fair Trade is low in acidity with a rich body. This cup starts out with notes of bittersweet chocolate and roasted fruit. The middle is highlighted by toast and oat milk notes. The finish is bready with a little bit of smoke.
Peru Organic (Dark): Our Peru Organic is spicy with a silky body and balanced acidity. It is heavy in spice and black pepper notes on the front and finishes with notes dark chocolate and some vanilla sweetness. As it cools, the body gets a little heavier and notes of bread develop in the finish.
