This roast is perfect for those who prefer the high acidity associated with lighter roasts. This is our go to light roast for people who want a crowd-pleasing, balanced, light bodied coffee. Dried cranberry acidity starts at the front of the cup, with notes of sweet ginger spice popping in the middle of the cup and then fading into the herbal Thai basil finish.
Roast Color: Light
Cupping Notes: Dried Cranberry, Candied Ginger, Thai Basil
Story: In Colombia the vast majority of coffee is cultivated, harvested and processed on small family owned farms. While these producers are their own architects, designing farm management and post-harvest solutions to fit their environment, they also need strong alliances to bring their coffee to the international market and earn fair prices. To support this system of small farm production, Colombia established the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC) to organize and support a complex network of larger regional coffee cooperatives. These cooperatives provide producers with valuable logistical support like centralized warehouses to store dried parchment and dry mills where the coffee is prepared for export according to size.
Their Colombian coffee is the best coffee I’ve ever had and I am a coffee drinker thank you so much
I first discovered McLaughlin from my local coffee shop in Sacramento,CA. I asked where they got their Columbian roast, and they gave the info. I can't tell you HOW amazing this coffee is. I use it with my Moccamaster by Technivorm. I find these beans are extraordinary. You must try them! They are bold and smooth, nothing like them!
