We’re the McLaughlins—a family of passionate coffee roasters following our dream - craft roasting amazing coffee and sharing it with the world. Our family started in coffee business in the 1960's and we have carried on their legacy as coffee roasters for over 40 years. In 1983, Mike and Barbara McLaughlin took a leap of faith, guided by a love for exceptional coffee, to start a roastery here in Emeryville, CA.

What began in a small warehouse with a 10-pound peanut roaster has grown into a thriving family business now led by Mike and Barbara’s sons, Shaun and Mark. We work hand-in-hand with our importer, carefully source high-quality beans, and roast in small batches to guarantee freshness. That means you get coffee that tastes the way it should—clean, flavorful, and always fresh.
