Costa Rica Dota Peaberry
Our featured coffee for October is a rich and juicy peaberry from CoopeDota in San Jose, Costa Rica. This complex coffee starts very light and sweet and gets more intense and roasty in the middle. The cup starts with light acidity and sweet juicy notes of orange and sweet cinnamon. The body and flavor intensify in the middle of the cup, with cashew butter, roasted nut, and bittersweet chocolate notes coating your palate. There is a very subtle rhubarb and raspberry tartness right at the end, which balances out the roasty notes in the middle. The finish is long and slightly dry with chocolate and creamy cashew butter notes lingering until the next sip.
Roast Color: Medium-Dark
Cupping Notes: Orange Cinnamon, Cashew Butter, Bittersweet Chocolate
