PICKUPS

We are continuing our policy of 1 day turnaround for pickups. With reduced hours and staff, we are planning out our production in the mornings and not taking same day orders has helped us get the job done in our shorter days.

Orders for pickup placed before 7AM will be completed same-day, otherwise it will be ready the next business day.

ONLINE ORDERS

For our online orders, we are getting almost every order out the day after you order, even after busy weekends. Any orders received before 7AM PST are usually going out the same day as well.

Be well.

==========================================================

March 19, 2020

These are truly unprecedented times, and it's been a crazy week here in the Bay Area. We want to update you on what is happening with our business and what steps we are taking to keep our family of employees and customers safe in this time of uncertainty.

We have been working full time roasting and providing coffee for the local markets and grocery stores, in addition to all of our partners who have transitioned their cafes and coffee shops to take-out for the duration of the shelter-in-place. We are also still processing website orders and we are shipping them as soon as we can.

 A lot of people have been asking about our parents, Mike and Barbara, who are both over 65 and at home self-quarantining. They are in good health and working remotely here and there. When the sun is out, they are probably working in their garden too.

At the roastery, we are following the CDC recommendations and taking extra precautions to make sure that everyone here is healthy. We have no known exposure for any of our staff, and we are monitoring our team for symptoms. We are thankful that our facility already has a low risk work environment. Each employee has his/her own workspace, and we have a small staff for the footprint of our production area.

We are not conducting any tastings at this time for new customers or as a team. We have the front door locked, and we are limiting access to our production area to essential vendors only.

We understand that coffee will continue to be an important part of our coffee lovers' lives for the next few weeks, and will hopefully give us all a little comfort. That said, our priority is to make sure that all of our employees and customers are safe.

It is a very uncertain and fluid time, and our plan will probably change as the days go on. We will continue to provide coffee for individuals, cafes, and on our website for the duration of the shelter-in-place, but we will be modifying hours. We also may make the decision to possibly work partial weeks and send shipments on certain days of the week. As each day unfolds and we have to make these decisions, we will make announcements on the top of this page so that everyone will have the latest information and so you can get your coffee to help get you through this unique time in our history.

Our relationships with our customers are unique, and we are thinking of you and your families in during time. Be safe and healthy!
