Our Anniversary Blend is a special release for our 40th anniversary celebration. This coffee has the classic 80's McLaughlin characteristics of being rich and dense, with a heavy body and low acidity. The blend has pronounced chocolate notes throughout the cup from start to finish. In the middle of the cup, there are nutty notes of walnut and pistachio, followed by brown spice notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. The nutty and spice notes fade toward the finish, which is slightly dry, smooth and very chocolatey.

Story: McLaughlin Coffee was founded in July of 1983 with a 15 pound peanut roaster and one account. The first blend we ever sold was a custom blend of coffee from Indonesia and Central America, and the blend was lost to the ages when that one account closed. In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we are excited to bring this first blend back. To make it more fun, we are offering it in our original label and packaging.
