May Coffee Of The Month - Nicaragua Organic Jinotega Aldea

 

Our featured coffee for May is a balanced and soft washed coffee from the Jinotega district in Nicaragua. We chose a medium-dark roast color bring out a medium-heavy body and wonderful balance of acidity and roastiness. The cup starts with notes of semi-sweet chocolate immediately followed by sweet jammy notes of fresh fig. The finish is long and dry with sweet and spicy notes of cola and hints of toasted walnut. This mild coffee is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

April Coffee Of The Month - Rwanda Dukunde Kawa Ruli

Our featured coffee of the month for April is an old favorite from last year, produced by the Dukunde Kawa cooperative in northern Rwanda. This coffee is balanced and creamy with very little acidity and a medium body. The cup starts with quick pop of honey graham cracker. As the graham cracker notes fade into the middle of the cup, roasty notes of peanut butter meld wonderfully with the lingering honey sweetness. March Coffee Of The Month - Java Parahyangan

Our featured coffee for March is a washed coffee from the Parahyangan mill in West Java, Indonesia. This balanced coffee is rich and full, with a medium-heavy body and a lovely chocolate bitterness. Notes of chocolate malt start right at the beginning of the cup and are present throughout. In the middle, subtle green notes of plantain add a touch of acidity and complexity to the cup.
