Our Kenya has a medium-light body with nice lime citrus acidity at the front of the cup. In the middle of the cup, the acidity begins to balance out with the sweetness of this coffee. Our team noted sweet notes of lychee and white nectarine in the finish.
Roast Color: Light
Cupping Notes: White Nectarine, Lime Zest, Lychee
Story: Our Kenya is grown in the fertile foothills of Mount Kenya. Farmer plots are so small that size is gauged by the number of trees rather than the measurements of the land, which means producers often have more control to strategically pick and deliver only the ripest cherry to their local factory (wet-mill). Factories generally have an abundance of water lending to exquisite washing protocols that include soaking the beans in fresh water for long periods of time to solidify the hallmark Kenyan profiles.
I'm normally a dark roast person all the time. I bought this on a whim and found it to be a truly pleasant surprise. Very smooth never bitter not acidic. Just a really good cup of coffee. I would recommend giving it a try you won't be disappointed.
